ABOUT THE CERTIFICATION
Embark on a Transformative Journey: Become a Member of The International Association of Psychosexual Therapists (IAPST)

Applicant must complete the online application.

The applicant, if not currently a member of IAPST, must obtain a letter of recommendation from two (2) certified IAPST members.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Completion of a doctoral program in a clinical discipline specializing in mental and behavioral health or attainment of a graduate degree enabling the practice of psychotherapy.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

A signed declaration affirming and warranting that the member possesses the requisite legal capacity to engage in clinical practice within their jurisdiction, adhering strictly to the laws and guidelines governing the practice of psychotherapy in their residing region.
LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

The successful passing of the IAPST Certification Examination.

While completion of a training program is not required, it is recommended. A list of IAPST training programs can be found here.

TESTING REQUIREMENTS

·Completion of fifty (50) hours of clinical supervision from an IAPST approved supervisor that has been documented and submitted by the clinical supervisor.
