The International Association of Psychosexual Therapists (IAPST) is pleased to announce that Dr. Susan Frantz has been elected as Treasurer. Dr. Frantz, one of IAPST’s founding members, brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to advancing the field of psychosexual therapy.
Dr. Frantz is the founder of Susan Frantz Therapy, LLC, where she provides trauma-informed counseling with a focus on sexual trauma, PTSD, and issues related to sexuality, gender, and identity. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist and social worker, Dr. Frantz employs a strength-based, solution-focused approach to empower her patients. She also has extensive training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), offering effective tools for addressing trauma.
Dr. Frantz is also a respected educator and speaker, having provided clinical training and academic presentations on topics such as mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, gender identity, resiliency building, ethics in sex therapy, and consent in Kink. Her holistic approach to therapy emphasizes addressing individuals’ lived experiences, cultures, and values to foster healing and growth.
As Treasurer, Dr. Frantz will oversee the financial strategy of IAPST, ensuring the organization’s continued ability to provide high-quality resources, training, and support for psychosexual therapists worldwide.
