Maintaining Certification

Certification through the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists (IAPST) is not a static achievement. It reflects an ongoing commitment to continued education, ethical accountability, and engagement with emerging research and clinical innovation.

To maintain certification as a Certified Psychosexual Therapist (C-PST), individuals must remain Certified Members of IAPST in good standing. This includes:

• Paying annual Certified Member dues according to the applicable fee tier
• Upholding the IAPST Code of Ethics
• Remaining engaged in continued learning as the field of psychosexual therapy evolves

Certified Members who do not maintain membership in good standing may not continue to use the C-PST credential or represent themselves as currently certified by IAPST.
