Sex Therapy Summit participants
Upload your CV and your Sex Therapy Summit Certificate in place of a letter of recommendation. Membership is complimentary through December 31, 2026 once approved. Your country of residence sets Tier I or Tier II, using the same rules as the standard IAPST application.
Who is this membership for?
- Full Membership is intended for professionals who are actively practicing psychosexual therapy but who do not currently hold, or have chosen not to pursue, certification through the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists (IAPST).
- Applicants must be legally qualified to practice psychosexual therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, psychology, social work, medicine, or a related profession within their jurisdiction and must demonstrate a commitment to the advancement of ethical, evidence-informed psychosexual practice.
What you will need to complete your application
- Professional Qualifications — Confirmation that you meet the legal requirements to practice within your jurisdiction; current Curriculum Vitae (CV) or résumé
- Sex Therapy Summit Certificate — Upload your Sex Therapy Summit Certificate in place of a letter of recommendation.
- Statement of Alignment — A brief statement (approximately 250–500 words) describing your professional background, interest in psychosexual therapy, why you wish to join IAPST, how your values align with IAPST, and how you hope to contribute to and benefit from membership
- Professional Commitments — Confirmation that you have read and agree to abide by the IAPST Code of Ethics; confirmation that all information provided is accurate and complete
