This year’s award recognizes Mariam Aziz for launching Quareb.com’s “Overcoming Vaginismus Program,” a multidisciplinary, evidence-based, and culturally adapted online intervention designed specifically for Arabic-speaking women. The program integrates psychosexual therapy, gynecological education, and pelvic floor physiotherapy into an accessible digital format, helping reduce barriers related to stigma, geography, and financial accessibility.

Through this work, Mariam Aziz has expanded access to culturally responsive and clinically informed care for women across the MENA region who may otherwise have limited access to psychosexual therapy services.
